A chronicle of our biggest adventure yet - as we travel to China to adopt our little girl Olivia.

The Flint Four in China

We had a great day yesterday. seeing the great wall was a dream come true. Cole and I didn't very high as the steps were about 14 inches high and it was so humid we had trouble breathing. We stood and watched the people. much more fun.

after lunch we went to the Olympic Village. The buildings created for the games are nothing like Lake Placid. everything is on a grand scale.

Last evening we went to a Kung Fu show. well it was more like Kung Fu- the musical. I couldn't stop laughing and Cole fell asleep and had his head practically on the girl next to him. No, not a pick up move. The poor kid was exhausted.

We leave in the morning to fly to Olivia's province, Zhengzhou.  so close now. :)

We are doing well. We are traveling with two terrific families so we feel good about that. This is the second trip for both of them back to China so we appreciate their knowledge.

Love to all. we miss you.

Good morning here, evening to you. So glad to hear you are having a great visit in China. I am sure you are already in Olivia's province and getting ready to settle in for your most awaited day of your lives. Try to get some sleep. Your dream comes true in just a few hours. Love to all 4 of you and in a few hours...5 of you. Can not wait to see your posts on the 4th of July!!!! Get a new "Flint Family of five" picture up as soon as you can.
Kathleen has poison ivy on her eyes again. We keep her posted on your journey. She had no idea you were gone for 14 days. Forgot.
    Love, hugs, prayers,
    Char
