The Last Day!

Mike here, Ellen finally let me play on her iPad! We traveled to Hong Kong today to begin our journey home. We had our own personnel chauffeur transport us from Gounzhou in a really awesome Toyota Van! I think Ellen would really like one for herself. We are all ready to board the plane. We agree that we will miss China, but getting back to the States with our Olivia will be GREAT! We have enjoyed seeing everything and traveling the continent. We have had a lot of fun, eaten a lot of different foods, especially Cole, sorry char but he is adventurous, and seen a Whole Different part of the world. The best part was doing all of this together and bringing home Olivia. We are looking forward to seeing everyone and introducing you all to her. I am sure if time allows we will send another update from Nerark NJ. We Are looking forward to going back in time tomorrow. Our best to you all. Thank you for being part of our journey.

I am sorry too Mike that Olivia will not be eating that food when she comes to my house in September. All Chinese food testing will be at the convenience of her parents. I know she is going to like my p-nut butter sandwiches....just ask her big brother Grainger. He said I made the best pbj ever!!!! But you know I will do anything for Olivia so I will even taste things before I feed her. Cole, you would eat anything that doesn't eat you first buddy. And Grainger...carp eye for a buck...you are a sucker!!!! lol

Anyway Flint's, thank you so much for keeping us updated on your magical, long awaited dream journey. It has been a long 14 days since you left for China. So much has happened to your family in those days. Happy times, sad times, miracles, bittersweet memories. All of which you have shared with us on daily posts. It is almost time for us to meet at the airport and welcome the Flint Five home. I don't know if I will be able to sleep tonight. I can hardly wait to see you guys. And Olivia, I can't wait to hold and love you as I love your mommy, daddy and big brothers. You are my extended family for today, tomorrow and always. See you soon.

    Love, Char

What a wonderful experience for you to have together... experiencing such a different culture, broadening your world view.

Wishing you very safe travels. I can't wait to see you and meet Olivia! Since you will be on LI (how long are you staying?), when I am upstate, let's make a plan!
